Cat and mouse

Post by Zarina on Sun Jun 04, 2017 3:26 am

Lindia strode throughout the courtyard and out towards the forbidden forest, her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail while her red and gold tones clung to her form. Tucked underneath her arm was slightly colored cardboard box, which she seemed slightly protective over. A whistle escaped her lips as she paused at the edge of the forest, looking over her shoulder before dissapearing within.

This was too good! Lindia Inetia, her rival and nemesis, was breaking the rules. Laure left her girl friends in a hurry and put a Confusion charm on herself. Anyone looking her way would just see a low, funny-shaped tree. Curious what her fellow Gryffindor was up to -- and whether or not she would make her house lose points -- Laure followed discretely behind Lindia, wand at the ready.

Lindia paused for a moment before stepping into the forest, stepping over roots and dodging around low lying branches as she stepped deeper and deeper into the forest, her eyes narrowed and ready for anything that lay inside. She reached a small creek at last and sat down, keeping her eyes on her surroundings to keep herself on guard, wand being placed in one hand now. Her ears listened, waiting to see if she was truly alone, or if something or someone was near.

Laure followed Lindia softly, silent as a panther, through the darkening forest. She was very vigilant, knowing that the magical creatures hiding between the trees might see through her charm like water. To be frank, she was scared. The woods were famous for their hostility.
But Lindia kept going, so she did as well. Anyway, it was too late to turn back now, she would never find her way back on her own. Sticking with Lindia had become her only plan.
The girl disappeared into a hidden creek and checked the surroundings. Laure briefly hid behind a rock before deciding to throw away her disguise.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here," she said, stepping out from between the trees. "What are you up to, Inetia?"

Lindia turned quickly and her blue eyes settled on the other girl quickly, narrowing into snakelike slits. "None of your business" She replied, moving the box that was underneath of her arm to underneath of her robe, her hand tightening around the dark stained wand she held in her dominant hand. "What are you doing all the way out here? Aren't you supposed to be one of the good girls? These woods could eat you up you know"
